Account Write Off

 Is it possible to write off small mounts base on account balance. I know you can do it with individual invoices and receipts. Lets look at this scenario. Say a  company policy is to write of account balance smaller that 10.00. You have a customer with 3 invoice with balances smaller than 8.00 each. The account balance is 24.00. With create autoadjustments you can set the from and to amounts to 10.00. All these invoices will now be pick and written off. Because the balance is more than 10.00. These invoices should never have been picked.
So my question is to write of transactions only if the balance of the account is less that a certain amount.
