CIP Additions not on Asset Additions after close

We ran an Additions report prior to close, and it contained the CIP additions on it.  After close, we ran the same report and it no longer contained the CIP additions on the report.  We are in Oracle 11i.  Why would it show up on one report prior to close, but not after?  The CIP assets due show up on the CIP Detail report.
