Default Business Group vs Creating New Business Group

Oracle E-Business Suite Multiple Organizations Implementation Guide (Release 12.1) states: “We recommend that you modify the predefined business group rather than defining a new one.” However It is sometimes usefull to have a more user friendly name that “Setup Business Group”. One of the benefits of using the Setup Business Group is that it is the default Profile Option setting. Are there any other benefits of using the Default Business Group?
