Kanban Functionality

My team has been asked to explore the Kanban functionality in eBusiness Suite as a possible replacement to a manual Kanban process.

Has anyone successfully implemented a Kanban system using the Inventory module and would be willing to share your experiences and expertise? We can't seem to resolve some key issues in our set up.
