RMAN 11GR1 VLDB Running a level 1 while a level 0 is running

Assumptions: all backups start at midnight and end at midnight

OracleDB is 12TB warehouse

RMAN is 10 channels and 10G maxpiecesize. 

Question: I have a inc_level_o that starts on Sunday @ midnight and runs through Tuesday @ midnight. Can you run a inc_level_1 backup on Monday, while the level 0 is still running? Will the level 1 be valid in a restore process? Is the level 1 any good or is there some sort of harm that could befall my database. Should the level 1 be stopped during a level 0 is running
