TNS-03505: Failed to resolve name

 Hi!
A new 11g installation on a HP/UX box. But I cant use TNSPING. I get:

"TNS-03505: Failed to resolve name".

Where to begin?

The database is registred with the listener.

Is there anything in SQLnet.ora I should change?
