Database failover solution with ASM mirroring

Hello, i am searching for a solution, which we were used to have in the past. It is a solution with hot-standby cluster having 2 nodes and 2 storages.
We dont want to use RAC - as our applications are not RAC-aware and the failover is quite fine for our customers.
What we want to have additionally is a mirrored storage - there we would like to use ASM.
In the old version of oracle it was OK and using for example LifeKeeper it was no problem to stop oracle instance asm instance and start them on the other server. Now with the new version of oraclasm there is somehow hardcoded hostname of the machine in the ASM configuration - it causes that it is not possible to make a failover to other node.

Howdy, Stranger!
