RMAN Backup info missing from catalog.

Hi ,

I am using oracle 10.2.0.4.0 on solaris with separate catalog database to take backups on tapes.

I have taken full backup of the database some days before successfully , i was able to query this information in the catalog 2 days before also.

but suddenly now i am  unable to see this information in catalog & in 'list backup'.

1. we have not deleted this backup through RMAN.

2. Backup is moved/copied to a different tapes by Net backup team.

What could happen to this info or how this info is deleted from catalog. any idea .

In what are all the cases backp info will be deleted from catalog ?
