Creating a report that reflect Assets at a periodreport

Hi all

I am creating a report that reflects assets as at a particular period. This report that i am creating i expect the output would be thet same as the "Rxi: Asset Listing By Period". The asset listing by period reflect assets that are active as at the period . This report does not includes retired assets which is the beauty i like about this report. What criteria do i need to include in this report for it to only includes only current assets.

The aim of this report is to have each locations do there fixed assets returns. So if i could get this report working, all that would be required is for each location to submitt the report by their location.
