Database Inaccessible with 100% CPU - Patch available?

   Hello

 

I have several machine running Orcale 10.2.0.1.0 on Red Hat Linux 2.6.18-53.e15

The problem I'm seeing is that after about 8 months the database will be become inaccessible.

Using 'top' you can see that there will be around 10 or so Orcale instances each using about 10-20% of the CPU, and therefore in total the CPU is fully used.

The only solution seems to be a reboot, and then another 8 months of normal service.

Are there any logs I can check in order to rectify? Or any patches available to cure the problem?
