Viewing shipment weight

Currently our customer-facing documents are processed through Optio.  When an order is booked, the weight is calculated and available on the Edit Sheet.  Without manually going to the network drive where these are stored, is there a place in Oracle where this manager could query perhaps by order # to see the weight?  We're currently on 11.5.9. If not available in this version we plan on upgrading to 11.5.10 or 12i this year.
