Optimistic locking in AGILE 9.3?

Hi,
Is there an optimistic locking or any form of locking implemented in AGILE 9.3? We have searched the 9.3 documents but nothing turns up.

We noticed that in 9.2.5, there is a form of optimistic locking whenever multiple person edit and then save the same object.
