Auto-accounting customization

 Our autoaccounting rules for Revenue uses standard lines except for our Market segment which uses the customer site--we recently purchased another company and the company wishes to have revenue accounting use the standard lines for these new items but retain the customer site segment for the old items--would we need to do a customization on the revenue accounting program?  The only other option seems to reclass this revenue with a journal entry--any suggestions would be appreciated
