Setting up manage proxies for self-service

 Hi Gurus,

I am trying to setup the manage proxies access for self-service. I have followed the steps mentioned inmetalink note 416035.1 UMX Proxy User Feature - Behind-the-Scenes by assigning the manage proxies role to my relevant user, accessing the manage proxies functionality via preferences and selecting a person whom I want to act as my proxy. Both users have fnd_user accounts with a named hr record attached.

However, when I login as the proxy person, I am not able to see the manae proxy link at the top of the page with the preferences etc.

I have tried clearing out the cache, but this hasn't worked. I tried the sequel provided in the metalink note which all seems to be in order, is there a step I am missing? I did try and runthe synchronise WF tables concurrent request from sysadmin which errored out  due to files missing. Should i need to run anything for the proxy functionlaity to be become enabled? I'm running out of ideas ...
