Comments on tables and columns for ER Diagrams

  Hi

I am planning to add comments for tables and columns of a 10gR2 RAC Database, the aim is to generate documentation subsequently, like ER Diagrams.

I have two doubts:

  • Does it have influence on database performance?
  • Does anybody of you know a tool to exploit those comments?
