Prorate convention

My current prorate convention start prorate date is the first date in the month. e.g from 01-jan-10 to 31-jan-10, prorate date 1-jan-10. I create a new prorate convention that start prorate the first date of the fiscal year, e.g fiscal year is jan-dec-10, prorate convention for jun-10 , prorate date 01-jun-10 to 30-jun-10,prorate date 01-jan-10.

Now, I read sometime ago that the system automatically increase the prorate convention yearly, with this new prorate created will the system do the same.
