ESU questions

hello all,

i have some questions about esu's. First:

-after applying the planner esu to the planner env, how do i promote it to other env

-how do you promote any esu to other env.

It's the same thing as building and deploying a package?

I'm new to jde an i want to have an ideea about the basics. If any one could point me to some domenetation about this issue i would be verry thankfull.
