Linux Certification - RHCE / RHCT

Folks, I am planning to add to prepare for Linux certification (RHCT) and for that
I intend to install Linux on a desktop / laptop for real hands on practice and exam preparation using
"Red Hat® Certified Technician & Engineer (RHCT and RHCE) Training Guide and Administrator's Reference"

In order to be able to do all the exercises (on which you get tested for in the exam):


1. Do I need to install Red Hat Linux or I can use Oracle Enterprise Linux 5?
2. From exam preparation, would you recommend installing it on a desktop OR a laptop or it does not matter as long as I can install the O/S?
