Procedure for TSPITR on Primary Database with Physical Standby

I was required to do a TSPITR for a database that had a physical standby due to a corrupted schema in a self-contained tablespace.  The standby was using real-time apply in SYNC log transport mode.  After the TSPITR was completed successfully, I started to receive an error message in the Data Guard Broker configuration - ORA-16766: Redo Apply unexpectedly offline.  I cancelled and restarted the log apply on the standby but the message did not clear.  A looked through the alert log on the standby and noticed the following errors :

ORA-01246: recovering files through TSPITR of tablespace USERS

ORA-01110: data file 5: '+DG_DATA/orcl1/datafile/users.257.697652249'
