Fixed Asset ADI

We are currently patching our 11.7 invironment.  With the latest patches, there is an ADI update to the ADI Template for Mass Additions.   This has set a required field(s) for Clearing Account.     This account is setup on the Category and used in the background through FA Generator.   Why is this account now REQUIRED in the additions header?
