Steps to install pro c compilers for 64 bit system (aix) on the same oracle home and the oracle home

  Hi Every one,

i have a db installed 10.2.0.1.0 and then we applied patches for 10.2.0.3.0 & 10.2.0.4.0 so now the current version is 10.2.0.4.0 (running fine) but i have to install the pro c * compilers for the 64 bit system (aix). what 10g has not installed while the db installation. i found that we have to install it from the companion cd

my doubts are i have applied two patches on top of the original release now if i invoke the installer and apply this pro c will the binaries for this proc is this will accept by the existing binaries

pls advice me on this or if any one done this means pls provide me the steps that u have followed
