Criteria to Select XML Publisher as Reporting Tool

Hi,

Need following information on XML publisher. Our customer is looking for information before implementing the XML publisher in their environment.

1) What are the criterias to be looked at to select the XML publisher as reporting tool ?

2) Whether XML Publisher is stable product ?

3) What are the known bugs in XML Publisher  ?

4) How many issues are raised due to XML publisher by other customers ?

Your help is highly appreciated.
