Oracle Rdb and Oracle Database on OpenVMS for Testing With Field Test Version of OpenVMS 8.4

Dear Oracle Rdb and Oracle Database on OpenVMS Customers,

.

We have had several inquiries from customers asking what versions of either Oracle Rdb or the Oracle Database on OpenVMS they should use to test with the Field Test Version of OpenVMS 8.4.


If you would like to test with Oracle Rdb, you should contact Oracle Rdb Support and request Oracle Rdb Version T7.2.5. This pre-release version of Oracle Rdb is being made available for testing purposes only and is the only version of Oracle Rdb that will install and run on the Field Test Version of OpenVMS 8.4. A production version of Oracle Rdb 7.2.5 will be released when the production version of OpenVMS 8.4 is released by HP.
