What Application Leverages Oracle Inventory Service Attribute the 'Enable Defect Tracking'?

 Does anyone know what Oracle Module Leverages the Service Attribute Defect Management found on the Service Tab in the Item Master. Defect Management and Enhancement Module was retired.
I checked Oracle Quality Imp and User Guide and could locate a hit. When this attribute is enabled
what and how does it effect the item in relationship to Defect Tracking. Is there a module that requires this to be enabled in order to support tracking of the defect. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
