how to restrict SSH connections

 Hi all ,

recently we made our server online and we found in /var/spool/secure so many unathanticated users trying to connect our server by using SSH connections.

How i can restrict that fake users and allow only authenticated users to acess server.

Anyidea pleas Update.

 My linux version is oralce Linux 5
