Moving Tables between tablespaces in DB2 in preparation for an upgrade

 Wizards: We are in the process of preparing for a Siebel SEA 7.8.2 to SIA 8.1.1 upgrade of a customer. We have performed several mock upgrades and have identified the fact that several tables will be moved to higher table spaces as part of the upgrade ( For example, S_ORG_EXT will be moved from a 16K to 32K tablespace because of increased # of columns).

In order to save time during the actual upgrade weekend, we propose to move these tables to the higher tablespaces ahead of time while we are in 7.8. So,  taking the same example above, we would move S_ORG_EXT from 16K tablespace to 32K tablespace a month prior to the actual upgrade.
