Defining Customer Profile Classes

 Hi,

I have opened the customer profile class window and clicked on help (?) icon.

It says

"Profile class options set at the account or site level take precedence over those defined at the customer profile class level. "

I can see customer profile field at account and site level of the customer.What is the exact navigation for a customer.

There is a tab "profile" at customer level.But there is no field to select customer profile class.

Am I missing something?
