Installing Clusterware for the first time!

Hi!
Im about to install Oracle 11.1.0.6 Clusterware for the first time on Windows 32 bit.

So, going through some documentation, I have a question:

Is ASM a prerequsite to use the Clusterware? (We will use the CRS for the Oracle SOA Suite, not install any databases on this servers). In my opinion its not, but I would really like to know :-)

EDIT: just to clearify, I know I cant install the CRS on ASM.
