 Receipt Transaction from the Confirm Receipt Workflow notification does not result in a Receiving Transaction

We are creating Purchase Requisitions for MRO Items via iProcurement reqs, the Req's are converted into PO's with 3-Way Matching, Direct Receipt. A workflow notification is sent to the Requestor to receive. The action taken via the Workflow Notification in the email does not result in a Receiving Transaction. The action taken via Notifications from Notification summary results in a Receiving Transaction.

Am I missing a setup? Has anyone encountered the same issue ?
