Compelling reason for Siebel Order capture

I am working for Telco customer in africa. They do want to use our order capture functionality containing product configuration. Instead they want to integrate with billing system where they maintain products and bundles in similar way we create customisable product. They want to use the product center which is used to create customisable products.

I would like to know the possible risks on this approach. And differentiable value proposition to make them understand in the best practice perspective.
