R12 Inventory Module & Item Templates

 I'm testing the setup in prep for upgrading to R12.  I noticed that there are several Item Template provided that have an @ sign as a prefix on the Item Template name.  I can change the ones that we normally use but I was wondering if anyone can tell me what's behind the prefix business.
