ORA-24323 value not allowed

Hi,

From Friday all of a sudden, only one user is facing a problem with a report where the error: "ORA-24323 value not allowed ==> Select 'Sale Govt securities - Outrgiht',NVL(Q1.GSEC_SALE,0)" is coming.  All the other users are able to execute this report without any problem.  I shut down the database, checked the tnsnames.ora entry of that user PC and found everything to be fine.

We are using Oracle Reports 6i.  Can anyone provide a solution to this problem?  I understand that report builder is losing connection to the database.  But why?
