Unplanned depreciation for Reinstated asset

 Hi,

Can someone let me know what happens to Unplanned depreciation when we try to reinstate assets.

Our business tried to reinstate assets that were retired earlier. Prior to retiring they performed an unplanned depreciation operation for the remaining NBV. When they reinstated the asset, the Unplanned depreciation was reversed during the monthly depreciation which they did not expect to happen.

Can anyone please explain this process clearly..What happens to unplanned depreciation amount when the asset is reinstated.
