Order Quote using Process Order API

 Hi,

 I need to create a custom API that replicates  standard oracle functionality of creating quotes in Order Management which is same as sales order. I tried to create the quote and its updating oe_order_headers_all and oe_order_lines_all base tables which means I need to use process order api. Can any one tell me what are the parameters that needs to be specifically passed to create quote. Once the quote is created, the customer approves it and then we can book the order.

Any suggestions would be much helpful.
