Balancing segment values not assigned to a legal entitty

Hi AP Team,

We have a situation around Balancing segment values which are not related to a Legal entity.

Situation: 4 legal entities (A, B, C, D) each legal entity has their own balancing segment value (1, 2, 3, 4), ledger  and operating unit.

Occasionally there is a requirement to charge expenses related to legal entity B in operating unit A

example: employee who belongs to ledger/ operating unit A, travelled for Legal entity A and B. As per the policy he should prorate his expenses between legal entity A and B.

As per configuration for Ledger A - I assigned operating unit A and defined balancing segements for B, C, D as additional balancing segments for ledger A.
