Error encounter using Grid Control - move data.

This stuff drives me crazy when trying to get Grid Control to do simple things...
I'm trying to run an export from Grid Control.
At step 2, where you enter the directory and log file name I get the following error:
LogFile - A full path must be specified.
No matter what I enter in the log file field. The error remains.
The screen even displays a database directory drop down for selection.
OK, so I deselect the "Generate Log file" option.
At step 3, where you enter the directory and name of the dump files, no matter what I enter I get the following;
