changing archive location will it effect standby database

 hi all,

I have a primary database and standby database. I would like to change the primary database archive location to a new filesystem. i would like to know if changing the archive location dynamicly will effect the the standby database. Also, can anyone provide the command to change the archive location and would it require a downtime for that.

db version : 10.2.04

OS : linux
