gather_system_stats

Hi. I am looking into running gather_system_stats against my 10.2.0.3 database. One thing that I know I will be asked by my app is whether I can roll back my "change" if somehow it leads to performance issues. I don't think this is a real concern, but I still need to answer. If I understand this correctly, the data are stored in the sys.aux_stats$ table. This table currently does have some data which were inserted when the database was first created. So the way to rollback the changes would be for me to save the current aux_stats$ data in a temporary location and insert
