new cost type

Hi,

We created a new cost type and customized package to calculate the item costs for the new cost type, I need to insert the costs for this new cost type to cst_item_costs and cst_item_cost_details tables.

Should I use the interface to do so or I can directly insert to the tables.

If I need to use the interface, what is the request to load the data from the interface tables to the table.

We are in version 11.0
