Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hi

In a typical Fibre attached SAN storage configuration we may have a SAN in Data Centre 1, attached via SRDF to a SAN in Data Centre 2.

Ignoring RAC for one second, I’m assuming that if there was ASM on top, then it would be able to handle the ‘failover’?
