Oracle 11g RMAN in data guard environments

Hi all

we have some couple of questions after studies some best practices paper for backup/restore in an data guard environment.

First of all, the current situation:
- Server A in datacenter A will backed up every weekly day
- Server B in datacenter B will backed up every weekly day
- Backups will be done to disk and after that to tape
- we use recovery catalog
- between server A and B is an data guard with max. availability established
