Ability to receive inventory directly against a WIP Job

At a future direction session at OOW in 2008 I thought I heard a future direction about the ability to receive directly into WIP for materials (not just outside processing).  Can someone confirm if this is indeed an approved enhancement/planned development for eBS?  I was hoping this made it into R12.1.2 but can't find it.  Does it exist yet?   If no, is it there in Fusion?  Thanks!
