Bills of Material Form in R12 & New Columns

In R12 the Bills of Material form has some columns on the Main tab that weren't in 11i.  In particular I'm talking about 'Basis' & 'Inverse Usage'.  The 'Basis' column is between the 'UOM' & 'Quantity' columns & 'Inverse Usage' follows 'Quantity'.  The most important things for us are 'Component', 'Description' & 'Quantity' so I don't like having to scroll to the right to see 'Quantity'.  It also hinders people in visually checking a BOM as it is entered since the 'Item Description' column & the 'Quantity' column aren't visible at the same time. Has anyone done a form personalization to hide columns such as 'Basis' &
