How can we define Independent Contractors in Oracle PO Suppliers and extract report for them as need

 We have a requirement to identify our Independent Contractors in our Supplier database and be able to provide them a report showing

how much $ activity they had in the past 2 years.

I have the following questions:

 We are on release 11i (11.5.10.2) and planning on 12i sometimes next year.

     1- Is there a way to setup/enter Oracle with Supplier type of Independent Contractor? If yes, how?

     2- Is there an Oracle standard report that can be run for Independent  Contractors showing their $PO Requistions and or Purchase Order for a given date range? 

    3- How other users define Independent Contractors? Is this based on their providing services , their avialbility,etc.... I would like to know what defines a Independent Contractor....
