Update LIFE_IN_MONTHS in FA_MASS_ADDITIONS during Asset Conversion

We are converting legacy assets but populating asset information in FA_MASS_ADDITIONS.  Everything is working fine with the exeception of the asset life updates.  We are updating the DEPRN_METHOD_CODE column with 'STL' and the LIFE_IN_MONTHS column with the actual life in months (e.g. 36) but the when assets are posted the default depreciable life from the Asset Category is setup for all assets.  Any suggestions?
