9.3 configuration question

 In v 9.3 is it possible to add fields to the search screens.  For example, when creating a new manufacturers part and searching on manufacturers, we find that it would be useful to see the lifecycle of the manufacturer.  In our current version, 9.2.2.4, this is not configurable.
