R12 OM System Parameters

We are on R12.1.1 OM and Payments - working thru to get Payments Authorization to work on a couple of Payment Terms:

  2-Pay (1/2 + frt, tax on first installment, 1/2 on last installment)

We could not get the Authorization from Payments to look at the Payment Terms unless we changed a lot of things and then Authorization is manual, which we cannot have as we have an average of 1500 Orders a day imported with this Payment Term.

I opened an SR and was told to:

OM - System Parameters - Authorize First Installment Only - set it to Yes

However, I had to use Examine to Enable this parameter and go to values and set it to Yes
