Using 10.2.0.3 imp to import to 10.2.0.4.3 database

Hi All
My client has a batch process that runs on Z/OS that does an export from one database and imports into another. The databases are on different Solaris servers.
The source database is currently 10.2.0.4 and the target 9.2.0.3. The exp/imp versions used are 9.2.0.3 on the mainframe.

We are about to upgrade the target database to 10.2.0.4.3
According to Compatibility Matrix for Export And Import Between Different Oracle Versions [ID 132904.1], we should be using the 10.2.0.4 client once we upgrade the target database.

The document explicitly states "Always use a version of the IMPORT utility that is equal to the version of the target database

Howdy, Stranger!
