Account statements in xml publisher

in Receivables - EBS (MOSC) Question
Hi
We need to send periodical account statements to customers.
The account statement generated from Receivables is in a crude and unusable form (as per Oracle it is required for pre printed stationery)

Is there a way to generate statements easily (some other process other than described in Oracle user guide)

and also generate these statements in pdf via xml publisher
