Setup Purchasing: Multiple Inventory Orgs possible under one Operation Unit?

I need help on the following scenario:

We are already using Oracle procurement with one Inventory Organization. Now, we want to create a second Inventory Organization for specific items which shall be assigned only to this organization. We are going to setup new Inv-Responsibilities with access only to this new Inventory Organization.

As procurement is not inventory-org controlled, but operating unit controlled: Is it possible to setup also special procurement responsibilities that have access only to the items assigned to the new Inventory Org?

For me it looks like this is not possible. You setup profile option 'MO: Operating Unit' on responsibility level to your operating unit.
